Learn About Nursing Programs at COTC’s Coshocton Campus

NEWARK, Ohio, Sept. 1, 2017 Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) is holding a nursing showcase on Sept. 7, 2017, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Montgomery Hall on the Coshocton campus. The nursing showcase is open to anyone interested in pursuing a practical nursing certificate or nursing associate degree at COTC.

COTC offers two nursing programs at the Coshocton campus. Practical nursing is a one-year certificate program that prepares students to sit for the state licensure exam to become a licensed practical nurse (LPN). Current LPNs that want to advance their career as a registered nurse (RN) can complete the LPN to RN transition program. It is a one-year program that awards an associate degree in nursing technology and prepares students to sit for the state licensure exam.

Faculty, staff and current students will be available at the nursing showcase to talk with prospective students. Interactive demonstrations will take place in the nursing lab. Montgomery Hall is located at 200 N. Whitewoman St. in Coshocton.

COTC admits qualified students to the nursing program each semester. The deadline to apply for spring semester is Oct. 1, 2017. Spring semester begins Jan. 8, 2018. Visit cotc.edu/nursing for more information.
