Classes Forming Now for Autumn 2018 Evening and Weekend Degree Programs

NEWARK, Ohio, August 2, 2018–Working adults can advance their careers by earning an associate degree through Central Ohio Technical College's (COTC) Evening and Weekend Degree Tracks programs in Business Management Technology and Accounting Technology. Students will attend classes three times a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday). Plus, Degree Tracks are mapped out from start to finish to fit a working adult's busy life. Students will find the support to succeed by learning and studying with the same group while completing their degree. Available at all four COTC campuses (Newark, Coshocton, Knox and Pataskala) and partially online.

Convenience and flexibility

Students can save time in their busy schedules by attending Degree Tracks classes at any combination of COTC's four campuses or online. Work in Columbus but live in Newark? Register for Tuesday and Thursday evening classes at the Pataskala campus, and then stay close to home by attending Saturday classes in Newark. Students can mix and match class locations to best fit their individual needs.

Prior learning from previous college courses may be considered for credit eligibility, and job experience is valued and may be considered as well.

"We are excited to offer this opportunity to students," said COTC Director of Enrollment Sarah Morrison. "We know that time is limited. This program lays out the path to a degree by showing students what courses they'll take to get their degree and into a career."
