COTC and Ohio State Newark Seek Diversity and Inclusion Champion Award Nominations

NEWARK, Ohio, November 16, 2015 — The Ohio State University at Newark and Central Ohio Technical College Community Intercultural Relations Committee (CIRC) is looking for community members who have done great work supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives. The committee is accepting nominations for the 2016 Diversity and Inclusion Champion Award.

The purpose of the award is to acknowledge and recognize an individual who has made exceptional contributions in the community by developing or revising a diversity and inclusion program; which creates awareness of cultural and social similarities, proactively seeking to diversify employee demographics, seeking diverse environments to exhibit company materials, or establishing a diversity and inclusion training program to promote a better understanding of all people who not only reside in Licking County but also around the world.

Submit Nomination Form with a summary of 300 words or less outlining why individual or company is nominated.

Step Two: Individual or company nominated must submit nomination packet by deadline date: February 20th. Submit nomination packet by making choice selection 1, 2 or 3 or any combination.

The nominee must reside or work in Licking County and two letters of support are needed.
