Today, central Ohio business and industry partners are reaching satisfied customers all around the world—or hoping to do so. That's why it's more important than ever that the current and future workforce learn the necessary skills to help companies succeed in the global marketplace. The Workforce Development Innovation Center (WDIC) at Central Ohio Technical College (COTC), along with partnering organizations Leadership Ohio and the Columbus Council on World Affairs, invite statewide business leaders, government officials, educators and university students to register for the Global Business and Education Conference, "Your Role in the World Economy: How to Lead, Compete and Win!," scheduled for Friday, Oct. 20, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the shared campus of COTC and The Ohio State University at Newark, 1209 University Drive, Newark.
Register by October 6 to receive an early registration discounted rate of $99; regular registration will be $129. The first 50 students to register will receive free admission. Registration takes less than one minute with credit card payment accepted online as well. Click Here to Register
Roy Hall is a former wide receiver for the Ohio State Buckeyes, drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2007 NFL Draft. He was also a member of the New Orleans Saints and Detroit Lions. Roy is the President of the Driven Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization he founded in 2008 with former NFL and Ohio State University Football teammate, Antonio Smith.
