College Credit Plus
(CCP) is an opportunity for students to earn both high school and
college credits at the same time. Students who are eligible to
participate in CCP can pursue, and in some cases, complete a certificate
or an associate degree while in high school. Students have the opportunity to participate through their high school or online/remotely for the Fall 2020 semester. Please review our Fall Academic Engagement Plan
Important ccp updates for Fall 2020
Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) is following Governor
Mike DeWine’s recommendations to take immediate action to minimize the risk of
exposure and slow the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in our
communities.
Policy changes have been made by the State of Ohio due to COVID-19.
New students
for the 20-21 school year are eligible to participate in CCP if they have a high
school GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Colleges/universities cannot test new
students for fall enrollment for eligibility and admission consideration due to COVID-19 restrications and limited services avaliable on campus. Placement testing is currently not being offered at COTC campus locations.

Getting Started
Step 1: Intent to Particpate
*Non-Public and Home School Students must submit a funding request to the
Ohio Department of Education to participate in CCP.Step 2: Apply to COTC

- Provide an official transcript, with unweighted GPA, to COTC.

- Students
should connect with their high school counselor or a COTC CCP Admissions Representative (contact information below)
to discuss CCP eligibility and courses that can be taken. Please feel free to

COLLEGE CREDIT PLUS SCHOLARSHIP
Students who particpate in the CCP program at COTC and want to continue to take classes after high school graduation may be eligible for our
CCP scholarship. Our advising team can help CCP students review their credit hours completed to see how they align with our certificates and degree programs.
