The Digital Media Design Technology curriculum is a broad-based exploration of the process and the business of digital design. The field of digital media is expected to increase dynamically over the next few years. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics states
that employment of graphic designers is projected to increase by 13 percent from 2010 to 2020. This means that there is a good job growth for graphic designers. According to the BLS, job opportunities for Web designers and developers are expected to grow 20 percent between 2012 and 2022. Upon successful completion of the program students will receive an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Digital Media Design Technology.
